Zack Von Rosenberg who was just released from his ML baseball team, will walk on at LSU for football. Zack won 4 La state titles in baseball, 3 for Zachary High, was also a 1st team all state punter. Zack could also throw the football a country mile and on a rope according to former Zachary players. He didn't play QB in high school only because he was such a highly touted baseball prospect and coaches didn't want to take a chance of him getting hurt, so he punted. But Zack wanted the ball, he wanted to play.

Zack would excel at almost any sport, he has such unbelievably high athletic abilities, he can literally play anywhere on the football field except the line and has a super competitive nature. This could turn out to be a really big deal for LSU. I hope LSU coaches try him at QB first, LSU fans will then get to see what I'm talking about.

Hope they find something to do with him. Would be awesome if he contributes. It'd also be cool if he could somehow make it up to all the baseball fans' hearts he broke at 11:58 on whatever signing day that was.

The Morning Advocate reported Sunday that Zach might be tried at QB or tight end for LSU. I suspect it will be at QB, he really wanted to play QB at Zachary high school too besides baseball, but former Zachary players say baseball coaches didn't want to take a chance of Zack getting hurt.

So glad this guy will be on the team instead of the Gatorade POTY.

This sounds promising. Unlike, for example, kick holder, quarterback is a position that doesn't really require previous experience. Wasn't Tom Brady a minor league baseball bust?

LSU could end up with both players, with one being a walk on, which would be a great problem to have. Zack was really good at throwing a football as well as a baseball, he probably would have been an all stater at QB had he been allowed to play. LSU fans may found out just how good real soon.

It just might be that Haskins and Franks deciding on other schools could turnout to be good thing for LSU
