Zach Lee's clock has not started running

Zach Lee's team was in town recently to play the Zephyrs. This is the last year of his baseball contract. He is in AAA and has not sniffed the major Leagues. He pitched one night and was playing pick up football games on the baseball diamond the next day. Word is the time clock has not started to run on his eligibility because he did not attend classes at LSU. I don't want another Josh Booty situation, but what do you see happening here?

Emperor Gout you just beat me to it. Yes headed to the Dodgers as we speak and it is probably temporary, but still. Hope springs eternal and maybe he will show up in 17 but I doubt this.

OK he got called up and I wish him the best, but I will say this: He attracted some media attention when he was here a week or so ago and he was sending out some very mixed signals about whether he was still interested in football. This may have been posturing for his next baseball contract. We have certainly seen that before. Let's see what happens.

Last year was his worse year. He has been kind of up and down in the Minors going from AA to AAA. He has struggled with Command of his Pitches. His name came up in several trades but was not traded. At times he has looked ok but times he has looked bad. If he is called up do not know how long he will stay before going back to AAA? I think playing Baseball he has flushed a lot of money down the toilet!
