He wouldnt of been starting at safety, but he was starting nickel back before anyone got injured / suspended. And also hes behind HaHa Clinton Dix, who is the #1 safety, and Sunseri. Who is a signal caller for them like Jack Hunt was for us when Saban was here.

But LC might not of been starting at safety, but he was starting at nickel.

And no, we dont have issues getting players here. We have a top 10 recruiting class pretty much every year. Could some be better? Yea. But thats also for every major football program in the country. You lose some, you win some. Were fine.

Didn't Mcarron start as a freshman? And didn't a freshman have 3 TDs in the sugar bowl?

McCarron was a redshirted. So was Trevor Knight, the QB from Oklahoma.

McCarron was a redshirt sophomore (third year) when he first started and he was barely better than Jefferson was in 09. The freshman Bama went against stunk all year until the final game. This has nothing to do with that though.

This story is actually true. And it went a step further. The players said if they could do it all over again, there is no way they would pick Bama. Interesting this is coming out of BOL.

I hope things work out for Tony Brown, but he has serious shoulder problems. Im not sure if picking the school that often leads the country in medical processing was the wisest move. I guess time will tell. An Alabama reporter wrote that "Alabama has more career ending ankle sprains than any school in the country". The process grinds on.

What's your point? You don't think Alabama has underclassmen that are unhappy with their playing time?

is nickel in their base formation because if not who cares? Starting at nickel is a specialty starting position. Dude got on the field but didn't start til Sunseri went down.

so basically if you are a pussy, want to be handed a starting job, want the coach to wipe your arse while you are a red shirt instead of trying to win games or not earn your playing time Bama is not the place for you....

Not quite. Spin this however you want, but its abnormal to have current players telling recruits on a big OV weekend not to come to there school. At least, its not a recruiting model Im familiar with.

Brown needs a year or two to develop if he wants to go and start at a top level program. Most kids do.

He's the type of kid that might not ever develop but if he does, will be nasty.

Or it could just be players are unhappy that things were promised during their recruitment that haven't been delivered. You don't have to be a pussy to want early playing time.

Those kids will start one day and if they aren't bought in by then they will be in trouble.

I don't know that I believe it either but it's been reported by Bama's own fansite. I don't know what motivation they could have for making this up. It helps them in no way and only paints their team in a bad light.

No... but nickel isnt our base formation either but everyone says TM was starting as a freshman.

And it might not be their base formation, but teams use 5 DBs 50% or more now a days.

All i was saying is that its not like LC wasnt seeing any PT. Nickel is a big role for any team.

Wrong. Jamaal Adams is an awesome football player that will make an impact on the next level. TB's raw talent is what has earned him his rating.

Nice try though.
