I think we can take as many as 5 WRs

Would we want 5 WR or 5 DB's? If we took 5 of each, that leaves only 15 spots or all other positions. 3 RB's, 4 OL, spots start to get tight.

AD was a 5* top 5 recruit in HS, if Fournette's size, speed and tape is similar, then I don't think those comparisons are unfair

100% agreed

That's my issue. That's what I think they believe....and will probably expect.

I get what you are saying. The hype will get so out of hand that if he doesn't rush for 225 and 4 TD's his first game people will freak out.

But I'd be lying if I said i didn't hope he will be along the lines of AD at OU or at least Cecil Collins on the field

Just a tidbit on noil at db. Take it for what it's worth,

Before I tell this story, keep in mind that I do believe speedy is 100% offense and is electrifying with the ball in his hand

At practice, the young db's were struggling, and some of the vets were struggling , and speedy went over there and showed them what to do and better ways to do it and even practiced as a db somewhat and was LOCKDOWN.. Kid is an ATHLETE.

I have given up trying to explain this to the SECrRB

I personally don't get this offer especially at this stage of the game but it is what it is. I prefer Sims over him as well and Sims would take no fight to land. We could've waited on this one imo but I trust the staff knows what they see in him.

As for Noil, the staff thinks he's an elite CB prospect as well as an elite slot prospect. They'll sell Noil on whatever he wants(don't think he cares) and use his ability to play CB to sell to other wrs. Kid's a stud regardless.

Im guessing he did something extraordinary this past weekend on his visit to LSU that made them go ahead and extend it.

speedy can play corner and still return punts and kickoffs. while there are a ton of safety candidates in Texas there are not a lot of TOP END corners (after we get Brown). could be we put speedy at corner.

does anyone know if Taylor went to LSU camp. that might be the answer. sims attended camp and was not offered.

Or keep the Texas school preoccupied with fighting for their own instate talent. Play a little cat and mouse. A&M has been hitting LA hard. Hit back and make them work a little harder on their own homefront.
