LSU has done things like this in the past. Leonard Valentine the QB from 1986 was recruited here to keep him from going to Miss St. Never started and transferred out. All schools do it.

Alabama must be paying that well.

I really do believe this.

They even had a coach get caught paying Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and not much of anything was done against that. Lol

Womack's decommitment had been predicted by some posters, so it is not a total surprise.
Losing Womack hurts but LSU still has a pretty solid group of OL for this class. The sky is not falling.

The early reports on Willie Allen indicate he'll be very highly ranked next season. Let's hope Grimes and other LSU coaches won't be out worked and have already started with the effort it will take to compete for him.

There are 6 or 7 uncommitted linemen in the rivals.com 250, so there are better players available.

However, I'm wondering if losing 4 straight to Bama has affected kids' perception of the two programs in comparison to each other. In other words, could recruits be seeing Bama as a superior program over LSU?

Yep. We let the last 2 in Death Valley get away. Winning those changes everything.

A FSU repeat might change some of that perception.

I dont see this LSU puts more players in the NFL. Two of those games easily could have went to LSU. This year the Tigers definatly outplayed the Tide. We stay with bama talent wise.I dont get it. Its not Sabans great personality and the Tigers are a pipeline to the pros.
