It's not monumental, but something is going to happen. Though I keep laughing at how lax the NCAA is after the ridiculous tattoo-gate at Ohio State.

Ole Miss should get a postseason ban, lose some scholarships, and have wins negated.

They have self proposed the loss of 11 football scholarships over four years. With 9 of them coming in the next 3 recruiting classes. Allowing them only 22 scholies a year for next 3 years. They also self imposed loss of different recruiting hours by like 10%. I would think the NCAA would add a little more to what has already been proposed. Too bad this couldn't come out when we were recruiting Shea Patterson. Could have def changed things. The good news is that we have seen A&M self implode this past year and now the Ole Miss fiasco lol. If Miles can manage to run a clean program and find a way to beat Arkansas we might be alright lol

I heard about that, but I still believe it's not enough. plus they still have to finish off the Tunsil matter and that will add on.

When McFarland was asked on the SEC network about the 11 scholarship loss, he literally laughed. I agree not nearly enough

Probably. Either way, they won't be getting any recruits we want.

frick Shea. He is a cluster duck waiting to happen. It was awesome when their starter returned. Now he has to sit on his arse and wait. When he does play, it will be with diminished talent and get worse each year.
Ole miss will drown in mediocrity for years over this.
They had a qb that had a GREAT year with solid wr's and a solid OL.....that said, they could get crap done.

Who in their right mind actually thought Kelly would leave? Kelly isn't a Cam Newton type talent (but is very good), and Ole Miss is still loaded at WR and TE.

We'll probably just have to degree to disagree here. Last year they got two of the top 11 WRs in Van Jefferson and Damarkus Lodge. IMO, both of those guys are very talented, and I doubt both leave as juniors. This recent class with Shea, they got 3 of the top 36 WRs (all 182 overall composite or better) including the #5 WR, who I think should have been a 5 star player, in A.J. Brown. They also got the #6 TE and #13 TE (both 4 star players). In this 2017 class they already have the #10 WR (top 75 player).

I really doubt he will ever be hurting for pass catchers.

I hope so.

I agree. The loss vs Arkansas (4th and 25) was like the universe correcting itself for the luck vs Bama. The Memphis loss was just hilarious considering Memphis wasn't close to being THAT good. PEDs QB killed them, but the offense couldn't get anything going anyway.

We shouldn't waste any time on him and focus on the two JUCO defensive ends. My team played Madison Prep this year in the playoffs. My friend, the right tackle of my team who is going to play at Millsaps, blew him up the whole game. I don't think he is worth it considering who else could have those spots. Anyways

Jones is a grade risk. I think LSU should move one honestly and focus on Buggs
