In the mind of a high school junior, just turning into a senior, the past is all that is known and remembered. LSU's "offensive" past is known for its predictability, unimaginative underachievement. He has little knowledge of Pittsburgh, its school, recent offense or its past OC.

The Les Miles 'play not to lose' scheme will have to be left in the past. A new, aggressive, 'take-no-prisoner' approach with the offensive scheme for 2017 and later WILL be required to attract the upper level offensive players.

I have a feeling that if BOTH Bohanon has as good a Sr year as expected and LSU shows something offensively this year you'll see a lot of activity there.

I think LSU knows it needs that selling point and will go in strong once they have it. It's not a "slow play", it's a go big or go home play. Bohanon is shooting for the NFL, legitimately. He'll only play for a school that he thinks will help him get there.

I hope they do. My favorite QB in this class frankly.

Does he have a timetable for a final decision? "I would probably say in the middle of the season or after the season," he answered.

He stated yesterday at an OM camp that he won't commit anywhere until during or after his sr season. Sounds like OM is in it, 1.5hrs from his house, talks to Freeze and Longo everyday...........

With 2 top notch true freshman QBs we're not in urgent mode for a QB this year. Bigger needs prevail.

Next year will be the emphasis.

There's a legitimate chance Freeze is no longer coaching at Ole Miss after this season.

There was a lot of interest after the offer! Tried visiting I believe a week or two after but something came up. If we press this kid will strongly consider us! The offer meant a lot and he likes LSU and is far from an OM lean after what just came out on them a lot of kids will start backing off

I kind of wondered this myself. I like his film better than Rogers (too much Marshall out jumping people to make plays). I thought I read on a recruiting post (maybe 247) that he was not very receptive to LSU's offer. Hopefully good offensive performance and quarterback development this year may make him more receptive to our offer.

He's a killer. We need to offer.
