Nobody recruited Faulk to play rb. That was not a big one despite how good he was. There are cases like Faulk leaving the state every year.

The answer for me would be Ed Reed because we needed a dynamic player like him on defense at the time. He started from day one on a loaded Miami team.

My second choice would be Kordell Stewart. Freakish athlete who would have been able to jump in right away and play. Then we could have Kordell stories instead of Jamie Howard ones.

i've often wondered how great the 90's could've been. even if you throw out the Mannings, LSU could have still been dominant.

Well being that the top 1% of the top 1% of college athletes actually make it to start in the NFL why wouldn't.?

Recruits like Joe McKnight were a huge bust

I'm not sure how we overcome this and it really sucks.

We have a shot at signing 15 of the top 20 recruits in the state. Stop pretending the fence is down, sweetheart.

Also, it's pretty interesting that no one has mentioned Matt Forte yet. He wasn't a big target for us. But I'd say that a guy who rushed for over 4,200 yards and almost 40 touchdowns in college (and went on to be a pro-bowler) is a bit of a miss.
