Yep. My kids all went to Co-Lin and we live in Brookhaven. McClendon's stats aren't great because of their offense. This guy is going to be good.

Also like Thomas Perry and McCallum.

Can we please stop saying Jacob Hester? He was a very good player who was a fan favorite, bu Hester himself would admit Thorpe award winner and unanimous all American Mo Claiborne was a better college player than him.

Claiborne was a hell of a 3* when you consider his ability at LSU. I can't remember him getting beat much at all if ever. He was a true lockdown CB. When teams tested him he'd either INT it or break the pass up so teams just started to avoid him completely.

This kid is solid Along the line. Uses his hands very well. Deceptive speed, and imo better pass catcher. Great body control. Could run better routes. Not as sharp as he needs to be. Great hands. That's the reason the coaches offered him on the spot.

I don't think it's a stretch to say a case could be made for Hester over Claiborne.
there is literally no case that can be made for Hester over Claiborne

no doubt, we all love Hester because he was gritty AF, but his best season was an 1100 yard year. if you take out the heroics from the Florida game, he is just another in a long line of backs we had

Those heroics allowed LSU to win a National Championship so pretty important.
