LSU doesn't look ever good with his chances
The kid does have an arm and he did win MVP at LSU 7 on 7 last year and I also read somewhere he added 20 lbs of muscle but unfortunately that won't be enough for him to get on at LSU. I hope he does improve and gets a chance he is a good kid.

We missed on Broadway. But 1 guy in the last 5 years; u can hardly hold that against the Tigers. They dont miss many. Again, we havent produced enough in state SEC caliber QB's lately and it has hurt us. Alabama has had one each yr for the last 5 and that has been the difference. we'll grow one eventually but again it will not be next yr.
Gautier? Gautier couldve been in any SEC school's state and wouldnt have been offered at QB.
LSU goes after players that can contribute immediately. They do this because they can, just like an NFL team does or an Alabama does. The 2nd tier schools have to try and find the overlooked "diamond in the rough" athletes. Theres a reason why they are 2nd tier programs because that endeavor is not a formula for success, way too many misses.
My friend, u are not being objective when it comes to LSU recruiting.

I dont think you can say that yet. The guy is at ULL having his first good season, but look at the competition...
They only 2 BCS conference teams he played against he didn't do a thing in either game (OK ST and UF).

It came down to Mett or Broadway. We picked Mett. I wouldve as well. But if ULL offered a trade Broadway for Mett I would snap call that trade. Broadway is one of the best QB's in America and will continue to be a stud. 1 yr or 5 yrs; he can flat out play the position. Mett is a wait and see. Missing happens u cant hit em all.

They took Rivers and knew he was a project from jump.

Rivers is a perfect example of the scrambling LSU has to do when it doesnt have a big time QB in state. But your point is still valid, although Rivers had 10 offers unlike the 5 QB's listed in the OP, he was still a project. He was the best of the rest and since we still werent 100% sure on Mett coming here, and we had to get 2 QB's minimum in that class, we offered this 3 star guy. At the time we had no QB's committed. He was 6ft7 with a brother in the NFL tearing it up at the time and btw from Gumpville.
Winning helps but big time QB's can win alot of places and want to showcase their talent and be the focal point of the offense.
On the other hand most 5 star RB's arent that interested in pass blocking for a throw first offense.

Looks like Arky offered Harris...However we have a QB commit from a top 150 player already and it has been said we were taking one QB. Speculation is he being recruited as an Athlete...How is he there?

Harris has been offered by Tennessee
Isom has been offered by Miami
