we have got to do something about that position. the asshats to the east signed what, 2 5 stars and they do that or better every friggin' year. that's one huge reason (and their DL) no one can run the ball on them.

does Louisiana produce enough LB's? the huge guy we lost was from Austin for god's sake.

Isn't Pat Swilling's son class of '17?

A little guy by the name of Dylan Moses might be the most highly recruited LB of all time.

Granted he will be in FL next year, but I still consider him LA

We just signed 3 linebackers, 4 if you include Devin White, and 5 if you include the preferred walkon.

In fact, if Devin White plays LB then we got 4 LBs who are 4 star recruits. That's more than enough.

My beef with this class is that with Louisiana loaded with talent we still didn't sign 27 players. The extra 4 recruits probably would have produced at least one NFL quality player. That's a missed opportunity.

Was skimming over dandydon a few days ago, he said something like 6 of the top 50 players in the state are LBs so we should be able to stock up next year

We couldn't sign 27 because we didn't have many early departures from juniors. We will sign Sci Martin next week though.

Not offering Dejon Harris looks awful right now.

Gotta believe he would have had an offer if Fowler notified LSU.

So it goes...

Only Clarke from Riverside is a true LB in the top 20 of the state
Swilling wants to play RB

think garnett's lack of stars and recruiting intrest is due to past injuries that cut into PT.

Yeah. His sophomore film, when he plays MLB, is pretty damn good. Then he got hurt his junior year. Then he bulked up to play DE his senior year.

If he fully recovers from his injury and slims down, he has a chance to be very good and a great story.

Either way, he will bust heads on special teams soon.

Garnett's film looks good. He seems to get after it.

Clarke is good enough to have an offer right now. Maybe by summer camp circuit we will hear something about him.
