That's why I said do whatever it takes. You just can't make contact in person. Hopefully our coaches are tweeting, texting, facebooking, instgraming, facetiming fools right about now to LBs.

Looked on our targets and we are in the mix for several OLBs outside of those guys. The one I want most is obviously Joyner though. Guy is a better version of Malik Jefferson, which is scary.

We need to find a way to consistently bring in linebackers to Baton Rouge. It feels like the QB position where they can't seem to get some consistency at the position. Every once in a while LSU lands a stud, but not enough considering the numbers needed on a roster.

Last time I checked we had a highly touted qb recruit sitting on the bench. That isn't a recruiting issue that's our offensive coaches job to develop that talent.

Highly touted doesn't mean he pans out. Just because he's got 4 stars doesn't mean he's going to work out even if John Elway is his personal QB coach. News flash, the guy in front of him had 4 stars as well, so what then?

It's the coaches job sift through the pretenders, get the quality in here and coach em up. Sometimes players aren't going to pan out no matter who the coach is. JJ was 4 star, Jlee was 4 star, what happened there?

Point remains the coaches need to find a way to consistently get production from linebacker and QB. Whether that's coaching or evaluating talent, there's a failure that constantly causing a production void at both areas.

That's pretty much what I said . The question was about recruiting not player development.
