Feleipe Franks QB
Stephen Sullivan WR
Dee Anderson WR
Jamal Pettigrew TE
Donavaughn Campbell OG
Here is a LINK to the guys that we have offered.
IMO, we need QB's and DL. LA is stacked with DL in this class. Shea Patterson and Franks could feel the void at QB.
Already looking forward to next year at this time!
ETA: LB's are a high priority as well.

Neither as important as getting at least 3 LBs.

Very good point. LB's will be a big priority as well.

We need LBers more than anything. Not worried about DT. We will be fine there with all the highly rated guys next year (this year now), but we need DE's as well. I'd say based on what available and our needs our priority should be LB, DE, QB, DT. Then fill the rest with the best available.

To hell with 2016, you need to be studying for the 2015 RMD son.

Joyner, Divinity, and White are all outstanding LBs. We'll probably be closer to getting 4-5, though.

Hopefully Garnett comes back healthy and has a full senior season. He was a monster as a sophomore, but was out pretty much the entire season as a junior.

I'm predicting 5-6 Freshman AA's from my 2015 draft

Big turnout expected for The Boys from the Boot this weekend.

We have a qb so no its not a major need. 3 on campus, 1 commit. That's good. We likely take 2 whether Patterson or not but please people quit letting the Patterson drama get in the way of facts. Fact is 4 qbs on the roster is plenty. Until someone transfers we are good.
OL is always a big need. We have good depth and talent but most are kids we know nothing about at the college level. This years class has potential but also plenty of questions. Does COV qualify? Is Teuhema a OT or OG? What is Weathersby? Is Brown really any good or just athletic? Does Shipley play OL? I see the 15 OL class as a good class but also see it as an extreme boom or bust type. None of them are can't miss guys aside from Chidi and he may never play a down. We need 4-5 more OL as it stands now. Could change as kids start to develop through the spring/summer
DE is a need but not a huge one. In this league you get as many good ones as possible.
DT is a need as always but the perception is much greater than the reality because the state and Texas is so loaded. We are extremely young and pretty deep at DT so the need is less than the fact that the 16 groups is just so loaded that we have to take 3-4 of them. We don't actually need that many.
LB is the biggest need on the roster and its not close. We should offer any kid we feel can play at LSU. Offer them all, work them, let it play out a while and then focus hard on the top 8-10 that are reciprocating interest and lock up 4-6 of them. This starts with Joyner and Divinity. Also don't let our past fears of challenging Bama/Auburn for AL kids get in our way of going hard for that loaded LB group in that state. Best LB group in a state I've ever seen especially for a state of its size. There are 5-6 stud LBs in that state. Go after them and go hard. Good start by offering Davis yesterday.
S is another pretty big need. Our depth is dwindling and some kids just aren't ever gonna contribute. Need 3 or so next class. The Lewis kid from instate is the one we really have to lock down. Kid has as much potential as any of the big 3 from Texas. Just doesn't have the pub.

Joyner, McCullough, and Bituli are all warm to LSU at this point. Hopefully we get at least 2 of those 3 guys, plus whoever distinguishes themselves this fall.......

Dude, NSD is like a year away and people can't handle any inside information right now. We are overloaded from yesterday. Wait two weeks and then drop that awesome sauce. I have a feeling you will be a legend around here.

We are in a great spot for 2016. The emphasis will obviously be on the defensive side of the ball. I'm guessing we overstock on defensive front seven guys. On offense I'd like to see us sign two quarterbacks , and I think we can go lighter on offensive lineman and wide receivers than we usually like based on all the youth we have at those positions. And really push hard for a national difference-maker big play guy in the mold of Donte or Adoree Jackson. Time to go get every Quarterback, linebacker, defensive tackle and defensive end we can get.
