A possible Daub family member has posted on 247.

Also, it seems that UT's interest in LA players falls in the order of:

1. Speedy Noil/Cam Robinson
2. Fournette
3. Hottie Jones

Speedy is the only one to have confirmed a UT offer. It has been stated that Robinson has one once the UT staff is able to get in touch. Fournette is in a class of his own, i.e. he could commit anywhere and he's on scholly. Jones has not been mentioned, nor Cameron Sims, a teammate of Robinson at Ouchita.

TCUfan.

1. you posted on the LSU board. ask the admins to move your post to the MORE SPORTS BOARD.

2. on tigerdroppings, UT means U of Tennessee@ Knoxville campus, abbreviated UTk by many so as to minimize confusion with UT-Austin.

hit the RA button and notice the ability to request to move the thread. the admins will grasp your intent when they see your post.

Get the stick out of your arse man. This post directly relates to LSU recruiting, it's fine. Much better than a bunch of crybabies whining about recruits leaving state.

This thread will end up being a bunch of crybabies whining about kids leaving the state. But they'll all be Texas fans.

Not jlock and atx, they're cool.

There is no reason for LSU to worry about Texas in Louisiana IMO because for Texas to try to turn into aTm and invest substantial time and efforts in Louisiana just doesn't make sense. Like LSU, the bulk of our two schools success is predicated upon instate success. Mack has recruited very well and effectively there. Maybe a different approach but their success will always and should always be based on keeping their best instate. Just like LSU.

Agreed! Texas went national under Mackovic, and it was a disaster.Mack came in and vowed to stay in Texas for players. They have recruited very well using this strategy.

Exactly. This is a measure being taken to keep the top talent in-state, with LSU and Bama threatening for some of the top guys in the 2014 cycle. We just couldn't wait any longer, IMO. I think we'll get one of Harvey and Brown, but I'm not so sure that Watkins doesn't end up at Bama.

i don't understand why texas get a top 5 class every single year but haven't really been relevant since vince young left. why players continuously go there and they end up doing nothing in big games...and small games too

This year they remind me of the '11 LSU team. Great defense and good running backs but qb situation sucks.

I know we've had a couple of bad seasons, but in the two seasons before that, we went 25-2, with 2 BCS bowl appearances

Pretty much. But, being in the Big 12, the QB situation is a bigger concern, unfortunately.
