Kiffin and Bebe going old school SMU on everyone this year??? 8 Rivals Top 100 already committed?
I haven't looked in a while and couldn't believe what i saw. OUCH
on a separate note, how are we looking with the #1 La recruit this year, Williams - DE?

I'll be honest, with the loss of spots, it probably gives Coach O and Kiffin the chance to really concentrate on the recruits they really want. That means they aren't spread as thin recruiting wise. Just my thoughts though.

We all know Kiffin isn't exactly a "follow the rules to a tee" kind of coach, so it isn't out of the question USC is going all SMU.
That said, most coaches toe-the-line pretty closely.

because of the punishments from the NCAA SC can claim legitimate early playing time and starting status for a lot of these guys so they are flocking there.

It's USC. Enough said. They always recruit well and have one of the best individual recruiters in the country in Orgeron, one of the best HC recruiters in Kiffin and one of the top recruiting staffs in the country. If they stop recruiting well than we have something to discuss.

They can concentrate on less guys and get ready to make runs once they build up depth.
