Austin Thomas is visiting him today and an offer could come soon. His HS coach says he's on track to qualify and he's taking the ACT in June.
Sam Speigs also just put in a crystal ball pick for Franklin to LSU.

Hope he does better than expected on his ACT, because it doesn't sound like his GPA is going to help him much at this point.

Not to mention LSU needs to offer a QB who had his offer pulled by Wisconsin after he was committed. LSU is the bottom of the barrel for all recruits. Sucks, but that is how it is now.

I have to admit I rarely go to Taco Bell since I live in San Diego but I'm definitely intrigued about the customized Doritos taco he made with chicken and sour cream.

It's in your best interest to take 1 every cycle. That leaves you with 4-5 QBs on the roster each season with staggering experience levels. That's the dream position makeup for any coach.

Very very glad to hear this. He is a tremendous RB, one of the better ones in the country to me. It seems that he really loves LSU, and his grades are in order. Hope he does get his offer and comes on board. Sign him, Harold Joiner, and Tony St. Julien and call it a day.

This this may be true at times. However, there has been some unreal athletes waste away in the juco ranks because of their failure to make the grade.

I could be wrong but what I got from the article is that his classroom grades are fine but they are waiting to see what he makes on his ACT before they offer.

With McMillan and Scott unable to beat Etling and two true freshmen that we don't know what they can do, I'd say we need a qb this cycle.
