Harris was also the #1 Dual Threat QB and that didn't turn out so well with Miles and his inability to develop Qb's.

But, Can Kiffin (if he comes here) turn Harris into the QB he was always capable of being? Or will he always struggle having a problem hitting the water if he fell out of a boat. I just wonder what could have been with Harris if he were properly coached.
Tua probably isn't coming to LSU anyway, but we may have the same potential already on the team.

Harris will not take another meaningful snap in a Tiger uniform

Damn, after looking at the list, seems that the only one that panned out was Watson.

I would have taken a flier on Randall Cunningham II. He is at USC, but is the NCCA High Jump Champion. Jumped 7'4.5".

Mcsorley is doing well at penn state. Wilkins is 100% better than Harris also

The ability to read defense can be taught along with several other fundamentals. The issue with Harris is he lacks poise, touch, and accuracy which a player either has or doesn't. Those skills can certainly be refined, but you have to have them to a certain degree. Harris has not shown those his three years here.

I think Harris has a true chance now that Miles is gone. Let him do his thing and not be so constricting. Now if he falls on his face after being giving a real opportunity under a good O coordinator and a good Head Coach.

Play Big or Go Home needs to be LSU's moto. We always play scared vs. certain teams.

Nah. Quinton Flowers has dominated at South Florida finishing with almost 3300 total yards and 34 TDs in an 8-5 season last year. This year they are 10-2 and he has nearly 4000 total yards and 37 TDs in only 12 games. What Taggert has done there in only 4 years is truly amazing. This is literally the best they have been in the FBS.

Manny Wilkins and Brandon Dawkins are only RS sophomores, so they should improve. Wilkins is the better passer, Dawkins, the better runner. They fit what each team has done other their respective coaches, they just need to get better.

Trace Mcsorley actually broke Penn St's total offense record in his first year starting this year (3300 total yards and 27 TDs) and has led them to their best season since 2009. If they beat Wisconsin in the conference championship game, they'll most likely be in the playoffs. People would throw a fit if Ohio St got in ahead of them.

ETA: It's not a strong class, but 3 of the guys who did make an impact, became program changers.

Except for that one year with Jim Leavitt where they were ranked #1 or #2 in the country for a short time. 2007 I believe, which also included teams like Boston College, Rutgers, WVU, and Louisville being ranked in the top 3 at various points.

Nah this is the best they have been. 2007 was an extremely ridiculous year where the top teams continued to switch out every week. USF ended up finishing 9-4 and like 3rd or 4th in their conference that year. This is the first time they've ever seen double digit wins.
