I'm not denying that OBJ and Landry have grabbed most of the catches over the past 2 years - that doesn't mean that the young guys on the roster don't already know the playbook, haven't already caught hundreds of passes from AJ in practice, etc., etc.

I thought this way about Armand Williams and Jarret Fobbs, but we know that didn't quite turn out well for either of those guys.

I'm not saying this as a negative to either the current players or defending any of the freshman. Just saying that I don't consider WRs who haven't seen the field unless they've been redshirted.

Trey Quinn pops has spoken!

Wasn't referring to timed straight line speed either. Seem em both play in person and the kid from Algiers is faster.

He will see how fast the kid is lol. He doesn't get that he runs track. His running form is just relaxed and very smooth, but no doubt Quinn is a blazer. If you want a comparison of speed he's probably Brandon lafelle. Shifty in open field not the fastest, but if he gets a step on. You or has open field you're not going to catch him

Running QBs always look faster. They scramble from the pocket when DBs and LBs are turned away from the LOS. They blaze by all DL's.

Quinn would look the same if he were a QB. Instead he runs with DBs and is being chased by players that are paying attention to him

Evangel and Curtis say hi.

Lol, sorry. I take every chance I can to dig at the people who think 5A is some magical power house that cant be compared to any other classification.

I 100% agree with your statement, just don't put much stock in the whole 5A argument.

What team do u know plays man against Karr that would leave a lb in a spy situation? Not one. Man is the only way DBS aren't paying attention. And why do u keep taking jabs at Fournette?

Arguing over two potential Tigah like some lil Bichees...lol. Peen swinging contest? Who cares who's faster? Both are damn good football players and that's all that matter.

Not sure if the Landry comparisons are fair. Quinn is a much faster WR than Landry but on the flip side he is not nearly as tough as Landry is. Landry's hands and toughness are elite..better than most NFL WRs to be honest.

Jarvis is a beast and a unique talent! I will never argue with that!

Watch the film, the blocking in particular, and the 4:25 minute mark of his junior film as an example. LINK /

Then tell me if you still feel the way you do about toughness. You do not play four years of 5A varisty football and only miss one game without the grace of God, as well as being physically and mentally tough, especially when you are a 14 year old freshman and 17 year old senior. You can bet that there were some games played hurt, a game where he goes into the locker room to get an IV, then comes back out to help win the game in the closing minutes, many things you do not read and hear about. Perhaps it is time these things became public!

I have no problem with varying opinions, as long as the facts are presented and the homework is done.
