Cousin, first of all, it was said in jest. Look at the remarks on the board about white receivers getting one star penalties, references to white dudes breaking the record. I could care less what color Quinn is, it was said in fun. I do agree with you, however, in that he will be a stud at LSU.

Wasn't trying to pick on you or anything...I just wish we could all get away from the race stuff...at the end of the day, it does not matter.

Deceptive speed, deceptive quickness. As somebody who is color blind, and a follower of Trey's, I can tell you that I do not take those comments as racist. I actually agree! He is a very fluid runner, and ever since he was a kid, pretty much every sport he has ever played, he has made his motions look effortless, almost to the point to which you have to ask if he is giving 100% or not (he is!). He threw very hard off the mound as a youth baseball player, and it was the same thing, it looked like he was throwing at about 70% effort.

Point - there is some legitimacy to these comments in my opinion.

Next Wes Welker/Danny Amendola/Eric Decker IMO.

He's not nearly as quick as Wes Welker and Danny Amendola.

Eric Decker would be a better comparison in my oft given opinion.

Deceptive speed

10.6/100 meters isn't "deceptive speed". That's faster than Landry or Beckham. Now whether he has their hands is another thing.

He has better hands than Beckham. No one has better hands than Landry.

There was a GIF floating around of Quinn making a sick one handed catch from last season

Congrats to Trey! He is an elite athlete....if he were black he'd likely be a 5-Star! No racist statement intended...just a simple observation...but Stars will mean nothing in the end...

It's been documented by Tom Lemming white skill players must stand out more to get noticed...enduring what black QB's did back in the 70's & 80's.

Ironic to see those other names mentioned...

No one offered Welker...only bec one a recruit backed out..leaving the last scholarship available... opened the door at Texas Tech

Eric Decker was a "2" Star...

Jordy Nelson "Walked-on" at Kansas State

One of the Nation's Top College WR's Jared Abbrederis forced to walk-on at Wisconsin...had 10 rec 207 yds vs Ohio St All American CB-Bradley Roby who is supposed to be blazing fast...what did that make Abbrederis? Who is never given credit for his speed

It's perception...Glad to see Quinn breaking some stereotypes.

To break it in the second round? when they most likely walk into semis. I believe it's Barbe , Acadiana and parkway for the public 5A title this year so they should make it at a minimum 4th round so he's got 9 games left he barely needs over 100 a game to break national record. He will have at least two more 200 yd games and god almighty if they play parkway there will be over 100 combined points that would be fun. They played last year in the second round believe barbe won 38- 34 something close to that .

don't think district 3-5A isn't double covering him, plus the teams they get in the state playoffs... maybe we'll get the road trip there in round 1...

but he's getting coverage to where he has to work for his yards and he's still getting them...
