Well then all of ya'll need to stop whining about losing Kiel. Because that's what QB recruits want him to be paid for.

You mean Hall of Fame QB Trent Dilfer?

He's 10 times more qualified than any of us to speak about this.

People who cite a guy who played in the NFL but was mediocre as some sort of statement to his credibility are retarded.

By these idiot's logic, Jim Harbaugh doesn't know enough about the QB position to speak about it.

Seriously? One game? Where have you been over the last 4 years?
Jefferson couldnt throw for 100 yds in his last 2 games!

FIFY. One of his last three games was against Arkansas (200 yards).

Krags did a great job, but he isn't being allowed the reins. Les Miles offense is whey we struggle getting top flight QB's.

You hit the nail on the head. The problem is Miles. It won't matter who we have as OC as long as Miles continues to tie their hands. What high school QB with pro aspirations would want to come to LSU and play in Miles 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense?

Throw into the mix the BCSCG debacle and Miles' mishandling of the QB situation and opposing coaches have all the ammuntion they need to use against Miles when it comes to recruiting.

The overreaction to the BCS NCG is getting stupid. So based on 1 game we cant develop a QB now?

No, your conclusion is stupid.

Based on the last 5 years LSU can't seem to develop a QB.

Passing Offense Ranking:

2007 58th
2008 71st
2009 97th
2010 107th
2011 106th

You have to do better than LSU has over the last 5 years to draw attention from 5 star QBs, especially from out of state.

And it really doesn't matter about Crowton.

The fact is that the numbers just show LSU is a bad passing school - for whatever reason. High school kids don't care about Crowton or not, they just see that LSU hasn't been able to throw the ball in the past 5 years, and hasn't really done anything about it.

Ain't no crying in my posts. You must have me confused with the bitter, lifeless group that's been hanging around here. I'm very pleased Les Miles is our coach and satisfied with his production.

Umm what the frick have we done? Russell was a bust. Couldn't keep Ryan P out of trouble. fricking mentally destroyed Lee. Jefferson got worse as his career went along. Please explain how he is "dissing" not just stating facts.

He said that the great HS quarterbacks look to see if they can be developed for the NFL and that LSU is not the place right now given the BCS game.

He is a tool.
Flynn says different.
To base that assumption on Jordan Jefferson is moronic and lazy journalism at best.

Whoever employs him should ask for a discount.

If you're talking to a recruit and you try and bring up Flynn as your proof that Dilfer is wrong, you're bringing up someone who played when that recruit was 12.

I'm not saying that Flynn isn't an example of success. Just pointing out reality when you're talking to a 17 year old kid.
