I've always enjoyed Barton and not just because he boosts every LSU commit. Very enjoyable to talk with and the guy knows what he is doing unlike most on Rivals. Clean is doing a good job of scouring LA for Scout but he doesn't have the real credentials to boost players in the rankings like Barton does

Mike S doesn't really move the needle with the Rivals guys and none else from the Rivals network scout's Louisiana players. If they do not show up at the Army combine and look pretty Rivals will not rank a Louisiana player higher than a three star at least 80% of the time.

people use whatever site fits their agenda, whatever that may be
Bashing LSU and Miles has been the thing to do since Jan 9 and with Rivals having LSU as the worse rated of the 4 sites, ur gonna see all the idiots quoting rivals and bashing Miles in the same breath.

I think rivals has terrible local coverage. I don't think they evaluate Louisiana prospects fairly enough.
ESPN is a joke still. They have name recognition but their recruiting coverage is not that great.
I like scout's local coverage a lot more. I have been a subscriber to both rivals and scout and scouts local coverage is worlds better.
The up and comer 247 looks to probably rise to the top soon enough. If they get a decent local louisiana recruiting product going. That is where my money will go.
I look at all of these sites and gather my own info about prospects. No one site is clear better than the others overall.
Rivals does have pretty good national coverage overall. I am just more interested in having great local coverage.

Definitely. I remember on NSD I got into a discussion on here with another poster that I can't remember their name right now but we were arguing about rankings. I posted about how the other sites were showing lsu having a better class than rivals. They told me that no one takes those other sites seriously and the only people that will care about those higher rankings for lsu were miles apologists.
I love discussions with people that do not have a clue about recruiting
