re: Tony Brown SB nation interview

I think he's likely LSU bound. I also think that we have an outside shot at him. Tiger in the end though looks like, his sister going to LSU I think sealed the deal.

I think he pretty much summed up his priorities in the interview..went into great detail about how much he would love for his sister to make breakfast for him ...then went on to say the national championships isnt the first thing he looks for..basically LSU had more pros than Bama in this interview.

I may be wrong but I think that Adam Henry was pretty heavily recruiting him for us. Henry is from Beaumont.

Does anyone else get mad when Texas is referred to as DBU? It dam sure ruffles my feathers..lol

Apparently Tony didn't like it. He said universities have names for a reason. However, he brought up the DB tradition at LSU.

Something about his recruitment makes me uneasy. Is he as much of a "lock" (for as much as a non-signee can be a lock) as people in the know say he is? I would've thought the family dynamics & enrollment of his sister would've garnered a verbal. I guess he's seeing the country.

It really is the ultimate compliment coming from a guy who only talks about QBs. He recognizes how much of a terror TB can be for opposing QBs and WRs.

Sounded like he wanted to take some nice officials and didn't want to give TOO much away, but:

The grin

When asked about DBU, he said yeah, there are other schools that could probably say that like...and he couldn't think of another one.

Went into some detail about being at school with his sister

Mentioned taking visits to USC and Stanford, then pretty much said that he wanted to play in the SEC

Take those visits, TB, then come home to LSU!

The only thing that bothers me is that growth on top of his head.

He needs to go check that out. I remember when George Costanza thought he had Lupus. It could be Lupus for all we know.
