Hey Aggie. I wouldn't worry about Paul. I think this is just more of a safety net thing. He wants to be with a school until he is sure that he has another to go to. When I talked to him no mention of ASU what so ever. So that is really odd. I thought it would be Tenn but maybe he does not have commitable offers from some schools.

it's fine. I liked the kid, but the recent interest from Shazier and Stephone makes him expendable to me for now

The track thing is strange but i do have some clarity with an example. If Fleming came to LSU on a track scholarship,he could participate in football activities but not be a part of the roster. At any point during his time he could switch to a football scholarship.I thought the same as you guys until earlier this year when Latwan Anderson signed with Miami on,you guessed it ,a track scholarship. He was allowed to participate in football activities(not practice per say)and was going to be placed on a football scholarship starting in 2011.Scholarships are 1 year agreemants. No rule as far as i know about scholarships being able to be switched.Only rule i know is the football takes precedent rule.

Not sure on this but i believe that once an athlete is a recruited player it is dang near impossible for him to be on ANY kind of scholarship at the school and not count toward the 85.

I think there are some loophole type things about whether a player plays in a game or not....not sure.

But be certain that every player that logs playing time in a game and is on any type of scholarship pretty much counts. The rules make it really difficult to get around that.

Nevermind I see the board has already told you how retarded that post was.
Well, yeah, except for the fact that it wasn't retarted after all.
