I saw ESPN commenting that Williams is the number one prospect in La. Since when was he ranked ahead of Beckwith?

TW is not the number 1 prospect in La by anyone who knows what the hell they're talking about, unfortunately Espn doesn't know what the hell they're talking about.

He became #1 as soon as he committed to bama. Get with the program. That is part of the process.

There in lies the problem and your answer. They do not even have Tre'Davious White in their top 300.

Yeah I get that, and he may end up being better than Beckwith who knows. It just goes to show how these rankings don't mean shite when comparing classes 1-10. ESPN and Little Nicky propaganda machine doing work impressive.

didnt you know that any out fo state player tha commits to Alabama immediately becomes that states Number 1 recruit? Had Beckwith committed to Bama, he would be the number 1 recruit in LA.

This is the case for Rivals for certain. I guess the acquisition of ESPN by the Gumps is nearly complete? Idk how they can afford to own a network on top of the conference they already had in their pocket/

It's Tre White and Beckwith as the top 2 and then the field.

If you're ESPN, what's a better story....

Alabama and Coach Saban steal Number 1 La. Prospect again!

Or

Alabama and Coach Saban get 13th best player from La.

Which one has a bigger troll factor?

Rivals has tin Williams as the #3 DE and Beckwith At #5

Scout has beckwith @ #15 and Tim @ # 20

ESPN just randomly dubbed him #1 In the state bc he's going to Bama. They're both 4* and don't even acknowledge a 5* in their top 150.

*300 according to Fulshear

He's not ranked ahead of KB. KB is in the top 15 overall on ESPN. ESPN as a whole are just idiots and I don't know why anyone watches that biased piece of shite station unless there it is a sporting event.

Like others have said, only watch ESPN for games. Started doing this myself back in 2007. Place is a laughing stock for sports information & journalism. No one could be as ignorant as they are, therefore it must be scripted.

It doesnt matter, Saban didnt steal him. He was never that high on staying home in LA anyway. LSU plays him now once a year, so it adds to college football's best non-historic rivalry.

It's no surprise that Williams didn't go to LSU and I think he handled his recruitment just fine (Unlike Collins and Toshiro Davis). I am surprised he went to Bama over Miami and Fla State though.
