The length and athleticism fits our scheme, they can add weight later. And a lot of these kids don't lift much, I saw a video of Quarterman where he said he didn't really get into the weight room until recently. Sounds like he had a good summer, think he'll have a big senior year.

Usually one of the guys on Moffit's staff, not a GA, handles men's basketball. Not sure who it is now

Paul Biancardi ?@PaulBiancardi
1st Jordan Mickey now Tim Quarterman to LSU . This is the type of talent that will bring the Tigers to top of #SEC . Inside/ outside tandem

This is ridiculous already. If he can secure Martin he'll have recruited a better class in 1 year than Trent Johnson did in 4 years combined.
Could we finish with...
Martin
Mickey
Quarterman
Deng
Odoh
I think Deng and Odoh are crucial because we need some older big men to go along with our slew of guards and these younger big guys we're bringing in. How active are we on Bridgewater and is he a backup plan for Deng or Martin?

JJ proving that it doesn't take 3-4 years of nurturing relationships with high school players to get their commitments like Trent defenders had long expressed.

I've gotta think that Martin has got to be swayed a little to LSU after seeing who we've already landed.

Damn, Johnny Jones is going all out right now. Dude has injected a SERIOUS amount of enthusiasm into a near dead program, in like 6 months.

From what I have heard he has a legit offer from LSU and can commit right now if he wanted to. Think JJ knows there is value in taking LA kids and repairing all the bridges TJ set aflame during his tenure. However, with 2 spots left in this class I could see that changing if JJ thinks he will land Martin and someone else.

Martin and Frazier have to be our two top targets left.

probably because of his size. i actually see him as a wing early on but his point guard skills are real.
Posted on 9/30/12 at 2:52 pm to Lsuismyfav
damn, WE STACKED IN 13-14

He has the size to play SF, but LSU is recruiting him to play the point.
