re: Tim Quarterman is a Tiger(Basketball)

They opened it up to the public for the first game of the season last year. It was the same day as a LSU game. It was 60% full and there was a ton of LSU fans just outside the PMAC.

Im suppose to get my call from the ticket office today to choose my ticket location. Upgraded from the $100 ticket last season (graduated in December and couldnt get the rest of the games for free).

Im pumped to get some sweet tickets.

I posted a thread a while back as I just got my seat assignment and general season ticket email. Didn't get much response.

I blame football season.

re: Tim Quarterman is a Tiger(Basketball)
Coach Jones has certainly met my expectations so far. Early on I could have gotten behind some other names that were being thrown around but got on board fairly early once I realized that unity was the one thing we had to have and Johnny could do it for us. Despite what a lot of fans think, LSU is not really a great basketball school and the one thing we had going for us is some great individual players through the years. Such as Pistol Pete, Bob Petit, CJ, Shaq, Glen Davis, etc. We needed someone who could bring all those players back into the fold and have them informally promoting LSU and helping with recruiting by keeping our name alive as a basketball school.

This has been coming true with Shaq mentioning us and former players on his NBA tv show, CJ coming back for the first time and recruiting one of the Hammink boys to follow their father's footsteps.

And now Johnny has hired a great staff and the recruits are starting to come already. Beyond all logical hopes. Wonderful so far. Now let's win some games!
