I put Rasco at #3 because his ceiling is endless. As a highschool prospect I think Landry is better, but Rasco could be the next big thing at DE as his game rises at the college level.

True. I would just like to see Rasco make some plays. I watched the entire Shiloh Christian and JCurtis games, and he did very little. And on the films on Tigerbait and Scout, the production is a little better, but still not great.

I guess I'm just waiting to see a few sacks, let alone the 26 they say he had as a Sophomore.

But you're right. I need to learn the difference btw production in high school versus college. I watched Dequinta Jones last year, and thought he was average at best. But it turned out he just wasn't in great condition, as he looked much better this year for Arky.

I agree that his stats and the "aura" around Rasco was better last year when all we ever heard was "26 sacks."

You know as well as I do that projecting players is all about potential.

I'm only going to focus on Hilliard for a minute. I haven't really seen him before, but the impression I got from those that have is that he is just a big bruising power back and I have to say I think that's a huge injustice to him.
The main reason I say that is he has really quick feet for his size. While he doesn't have that kind of size and is probably a step slower, I really think a fair comparison of his running style is Brandon Jacobs.

Be confident that you are correct. Saw Mr. Hilliard perform a couple of times this year and he was far more impressive than his soph. film displays. He was not only bigger and stronger, as you'd expect, but seemed to have a more explosive start and better stamina than during his previous campaigns. If he improves even the slightest next season I believe he could vie for the top RB spot on the recruiting lists. Like his famous uncle, this Hilliard will be a dominant college player.
