Haskins: probably out due to Ohio St losing QB to Oregon.
Patterson: Rumors saying he is wavering. I don't buy it though.
Eason: Was never an option. Unless something drastic changes, don't see this coming to fruition.
Lindsey Scott: Looking more and more like a realistic option.
Belton: Kid from West Monroe, was all Miss St. Got injured in Sept and was out for season. I don't see an offer going his way.
I'm sure I'm missing out on another.

On that note, since we have a "QB Whisperer" as our OC, why not just invest in McMillan and focus on the class of 17...If Brandon Harris stinks up the joint next year, it won't matter; there will be significant changes

Yep this is likely. Wallace wants to play WR and Ohio State didn't want him unless he was going to be a QB (because they already have a pretty good WR haul).
Haskins, Scott, and a couple of transfers are who we should focus on.

Basically, we grab whatever scraps we can put together to salvage this class. Hope and pray we get lucky with someone. You know what would be funny? If Scott said, "thanks but no thanks have a great day."
How do you guys even know he's interested in LSU? That would be a pretty amazing recruiting victory for Syracuse.

No one knows if Scott would be interested. If LSU plays it's cards right and shows Scott what they have to offer, then it could be possible.
