at some point. Obviously the early out of state commits of late have not panned out. Tell me what's different about the Randle situation.

(Hopefully this post doesnt come off negative, its not intended that way). Guy looks like a machine on film, a freaking LB that returns punts and plays WR sometimes....

If you have any information about him or his relationship with LSU staff, etc that you feel would solidify him more than Davis/Hunter. What do you think I meant?

LSU has always done well in SE. Texas. Houston has a ton of LSU fans. No early offer from UT and from what I've read they have bigger fish on their boards. Don't let Hunter, Davis and Marsh scare you off from a guy from Houston. Also add in fits perfectly with Chavis and possible early playing time.

to be honest, anything anyone says right now is moot.

we said the same things about davis's commitment last year.

what happens when/if texas whiffs on vaughters or wallace? i would think randle is the next in line.

i realize that. Im just asking if there is any insider info that would solidify him more... Everything is suspect this far away but just sniffing, hoping he will be different.

Yeah but we all knew Texas was his dream school and if they offered he was gone. I don't think it is the same with Randle but that is just my opinion.

Early playing time, Chavis knows how to use and develop linebackers.

Im not saying he wont. im only saying that he wont be the first early oos commit to stay. It goes both ways sometimes. We have had in state recruits decommit also. It happens every year.

Hopefully we've learned a little lesson from last year's out of state players who de-committed. I'm hoping the staff has geared up for that and taken all of that into consideration when talking to these kids. From what I've read, Randle has really liked LSU for a long time and that may be different than what happened with Davis in that Texas was Davis' dream school. He also didn't get an offer until late which may be different as well because I've read that Randle may receive an offer from Texas at their next junior day. If he de-commits and goes with Texas it might happen much earlier and that would give us plenty of time to focus on other players. But, here's hoping that he sticks to his commitment!!

You mean like the 4 and 5 star Texas boys, Shepard, Loston, Lowe and Brockers?

You are one really negative SOB -- SE Texas has always been an LSU hotbed -- Addai, Faneca, #4 Charles Alexander, Tolliver. Tell me why you think he will de-commit.
