There's more wishful thinking in this thread than history of Sullivan's recruitment. Something tells me not to get my hopes up about this one.

Chi is great, but he's not 6'3". Closer to 6'1". Maybe a hair under. That being said, Sullivan may be a product of creative measuring as well. I'm not sure.

Before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, I'm not suggesting either of these young men aren't studs on the football field. Only discussing their actual height.

I saw where Dee Anderson is listed at 6'5 now. Imagine him and Sullivan as bookends in a couple years.

Did something change with him? The way I understand it is he's not an LSU lean and that's why he decommitted in the first place.

You guys saying negative shite about him coming here when did LSU ever have problems sliding WRs into the NFL in all the stagnant offenses we've had? I think that speaks VOLUMES at what it would be like if we do get competent QBs. You get record setting years like Beckham and Landry who are both tearing it up in the NFL right now because Mettenberger developed. It says something when the NFL doesn't give 2 shits that you put up a 2000 yard season when that guy goes in the 5th round while the guy who had a mediocre 500 yard season still makes it in the top 2 rounds.

Newsflash: Playing WR is a lot more than just catching balls with flashy numbers to pad those Madden stats

Well, I am a hair under 6'2", and I am taller than him. Noticeably. Not 3" taller, but taller.

I think it's safe to say that what ever recruiting site your looking at you have to consider : +/- 2-3 inches.

THIS

All these others are smoking about Chi's height...

I've also stood next to Chi and easily took away that he is not as tall as listed. Taking NOTHING away from his other skills and talents on the field.

He plays taller than he is due to his wingspan, jumping ability, and how he high points the ball. He's probably a solid 6'2 in cleats though

He is that big fast WR we don't have. We have a lot of great WR's, but none are over 6'3" and have Sullivan's size.

Malachi is 6'3, 190 with a 40+ inch vertical and runs a 4.5

Clearly he said OVER 6'3". Nice try wiseguy. Nice try.

Isn't Jazz Ferguson 6' 5"? I always wondered why Lsu got away from the big receiver, The past few years, It seemed like we always had that tall big bodied receiver up to a few years ago.

Yes Jazz is 6'5.

Terrence Toliver was the last 6'5 guy we had I believe.
