Couple of LSU recruits and ULL recruits in the mix, both Breaux and Lochridge are coming next year from STM and Mason Templet is a junior commit. Lots of talent in the game. LINK /

Maybe if were a football game but STM baseball knows how to win championship-caliber games.

Seems like despite the rivalry it was a classy affair as well. LINK /

I generally dislike STM and Teurlings in any sport (penis envy, I guess), but that article was a good read. Glad to see sportsmanship is not lost on all of our youth.

And congrats to both teams on a successful season.

so many of those kids went to junior high together and played rec ball and select ball together. In some ways familiarity breeds contempt but in this case it created an environment of good clean baseball and sportsmanship.

Spoke to a pretty reliable source (same one that told me to expect kelley to arkansas as done deal the week before it happen). he said breaux is all lsu, even if he would be drafted in first round he is still coming to lsu.

If he turns down first round money it could be the worst decision I've even seen an athlete make.

I work with his aunt and she said today that it would have to be alot of money to make him even think about not going to Lsu.She still thinks he would go to lsu even if he got a good offer from some mlb team. From what I hear hes a great kid.
