What's more impressive is how he plays on the FB field with that same athleticism. How do yall feel about him coming to LSU? Lock, fav, going to go to the wire?

I just watched his highlights and I am SUPER impressed by SN. If he grows an inch this year does he get any looks at QB?

I am not sure which is more impressive. Speedy's long jump, or LF running how he does at over 200 lbs. Most of the kids with fast forty/track times are in the 160-180 lb. range. Any high school kid that is 200 lbs. or more and runs in the 4.4 range is impressive!

I just looked at outdoor and he would be ranked 20th in the nation for all of school and 1st in the nation as a junior.

It's ridiculous is what it is. he looks like with professional training he could get his speed under 4.4.

Who on here could jump further than 22ft when you were in high school?

Well, thank you for providing me an opportunity to brag! As a matter of fact in 1963, as a high school sophomore, a jump qualified me for the Junior Olympics considerably farther than 22 feet (in the interest of full disclosure, it should be noted my event was the triple jump)

I'm actually surprised he doesn't jump further. The long jump was one of my events in high school at Terrebonne. My best, that actually counted, was at the Thibodaux Relays in 1996. I placed third with a 22'8". 2nd place was 23'10" jumped by a kid from South Lafourche. The winner, who set the state record that night, was Troy Twillie from Slidell. He jumped 26' 1/2". Later that night he set the state record in the high hurdles as well. We were in awe watching this dude jump. No wonder he ended up signing with LSU.

it's not that incredible. there are quite a few kids in LA jumping that. Some jumping 23 feet.

Justin Hunter jumped 25+ in high scholl, but he is 6' 4.5"
