I watched this kid play against Mangham in the 1a semifinals last year. I wasn't impressed at all he repeatedly took himself out of the game. He only carried the ball like twice and had 1 play chasing down a running back that showed his speed. If I hadn't known the name I would have never noticed him.

Happy he dissed them but if he goes to bama he won't amount to anything. Bama can't develope a db to save their lives. Ex. Tony brown and Marlin Humphrey, 2 top 10 PLAYERS regardless of position and both are garbage

They were both true freshman last year dude. Calm down with the talks of calling them garbage, it's way too soon to tell.

Wow you are dumb. Humphrey will be a true freshman and Brown played a lot as a true fresh and will be in position to start

Humphrey redshirted in one of the worst secondaries in the sec. Brown was better but was still garbage. How many true freshman play db at LSU and succeed? Most recently Tre white, rashard Robinson, honey badger and the list goes on. Btw none of those guys were top 10 players. Bama gets 5* dbs every year yet they are always the weaknesss of the team.

Everybody call harris garbage and he play QB so why we can't call humpreys and brown garbage . If anybody have the right to call a db garbage that didn't produce like he should have it's DBU fans.

We are rounding out the DB class with Fulton and Mullen so unless he can beef up and play LB then pass on him.

There is a lot more you can add but the point is if you are a top player in the country and you go to a team that has a desperate need of your position, there is no reason you can't make an immediate impact. You are either not being developed right or you were severely overrated.

Pretty sure Tre White was a 5 star according to most recruiting experts not related to Noel Ellis.

I hate Bama as much as the next guy but to say they can't develop DBs is absolutely ridiculous. They have a great track record.

He was a composite 4 star. Bama has mostly high ranked dbs and again, that is their weakness every year

i disagree with your assessment, Bama doesn't have "garbage" players IMO, although I do think LSU does a much better job of developing DBs than Bama, so I'm with you there...

I think TOny BRown may have the injury bug, which is holding up his progress....

Yea you can't deny our dbs do a better job with half the pass rush. Could you imagine us having their d line?

We may be the best at developing DBs, but again, that's just false.

We are DBU. We're the best. Doesn't mean they suck or aren't great in that spot. in the classes from 2005-2014 they got only one more 4/5 star recruit than we did. We've had 2 more drafted into the NFL during that span than they have. This myth that guys like Tyrann were 2-star scrubs before they got here needs to die. He was a 4-star recruit and the #1-rated cover corner per Rivals back when Rivals still mattered.

Maybe Shy can confer with Hootie about the chances of rejecting LSU for Bama, then giving reconsideration.
