It doesn't happen all the time where a condition of a player coming to a school is that there brother gets a coaching position. If the brother was good enough to be on the staff anyway that's one thing, but if you're doing it simply to land a player that's ridiculous.

Is one player worth weakening the staff? If the player is some transcendent, once-in-a-lifetime recruit, then maybe. Is Patterson that type of player? Probably not.

I guess agree to disagree, I just think going down that road is another step towards shadiness.
