With the news that Chad Kelly's coming back there's an opening. Ride the pine at Ole Miss in front of 50,000 or start at LSU in front of 100,000.

Pretty sure Shea signed his financial aid agreement, and will be in class at Ole Miss starting Jan 25.

Must not have signed yet. I read today that he still has an upcoming official visit to Bama. Just Google "Shea Patterson Ole Miss" if u want to see it for yourself.

Shea's dad was asked about Chad Kelly:
What did you think about what Chad Kelly was able to do this year, and how much better does that make you feel about the offense and the future at Ole Miss?
Mr. Patterson: "I have so much respect for what he did. he came in and beat a lot of the odds and did exactly what he was told by the team. I was all for kids to get a second chance, because things happen some times when you're younger and he really proved that he's a good kid and that he's a big time leader and in the big games he stepped up. I actually look forward to seeing Shea and him work together, push each other and help them both out."

Letting his brother leave was silly on LSU staff. I know it's not the way you want to get a a recruit but Shea Patterson is the one recruit thats worth pulling all the strings for. He is a complete difference maker.

The idea that he would walk onto campus and start is insane anyway. I am a Les Miles fan but even if Shea were the second coming of Troy Aikman, Harris is starting.

That's the truth. People hate to hear it on here for some reason, but that's about as easy as it gets. Keep his brother and you get the top qb in this class.

Please let it go. Shea isn't coming, Franks isn't coming, but we'll be okay. We're in the mix with a couple of quality Qbs and we're bringing in the #1 recruiting class. Let's focus on the kids we're getting.

Patterson was not walking on this campus and starting as a true freshman, period! Harris is the QB until he leaves! Harris just finished his first complete year as the starter and now has the whole off season of training ahead of him. I will say that Etling and McMillan will push him. Don't sleep on McMillan. A more accurate passer and better runner than Harris.

I don't doubt you, but why do you say that? What do you know on Justin?
I remember in the Spring, some writers were saying Justin looked like the most natural QB on the roster.
