This kid has to be signed by LSU !! He can't leave the state, nor can Kent Shelby of Shaw. We have room! Just can't past up on very good athletes like this. Down the line it will come back to haunt us.

Shaan Washington...does he not have grades or something? LINK
6'3 215 kid who can really play the game....How is he being missed?

This kid could fill Beckwith's spot if he goes to Bama. Really like this kid! We have enough talent in the state to compete in the National Championship Game over the next 5 years.

Kent Shelby of Shaw HS, Reggie Wayne type kid and we are not recruiting him. There is so much talent in this state that every week a new name keeps poppin up. This guy needs a good look!

LINK

Another sleeper kid is Lloyd Grogan 6'2 210 SS/LB type kid. Super prospect! Man, I know we can't take everybody but there are lots of skilled players who we need to take a close look at.

Washington is a LSU caliber guy but we are taking limited numbers at LB(1 maybe 2) which is where most project him to play. I think he can play S at least for a couple of years but his body, and Moffit, would likely make him a LB in short order. Also doesn't help that there are better LBs in the state in Jones and Claiborne. Maybe even Duke Riley. Just numbers.

Shelby isn't being recruited because of Diarse, Baker, Leslie and the OOS kids we're after. Also he's behind Lewis and Shelby Christy in the state pecking order. He's a longshot offer in any year. We've passed up better receivers every year.

I hate threads like this, how the hell are we supposed to know why a guy isn't offered. It's the rant, if you don't want to read "he's not good enough", "bigger fish to fry" or "hey mr (recruit's last name) then don't ask because that's all you'll get on here.

Not really. You are not a regular poster on this board and to not realize how often this happens with people who are related to players. They are never up front and say they are related and act like they barely know the kid which bothers the posters on this board because this isn't the rant and we try to be as honest and civil as possible over here.

If they would come out and say how they know the kid etc, then they are always treated nice with honest opinions and well wishes for the prospect.

It's on every single thread like this... Get a new sense of humor

And just because I recently started posting doesn't mean I haven't been around the board for a while, I don't have time rack up thousands of posts to feel like I have a big one.. Why does # of posts mean so much? Do I need 3,000 before my opinion is relevant? What number do I have to hit before I join the club and I'm as cool as you guys? Please oh please tell me

frankly....some of the folks on here get pissy if you do not submit to 'their' post criteria. asking why a certain kid does not have an offer is, to me, a valid question to a board that normaly gives solid info....not static and verbiage.

Shaan is a 2 sport kid at ASH. Definitely D1 level. Hes gonna make ASH viable to be a possible semifinal team in basketball if he comes back this year. Got hurt at the end of football season abd missed all of basketball season. His size reads linebacker but he's a better DB and WR. He's been a problem in district for years cause he's just a playmaker. Will be goid wherever he goes.

I look forward to the ASH home games this Fall. I don't get to see that many players that even get mentioned on here.
