as the recruiting season gets closer to the end, how much of an impact do you think having Simmons on board will have on the guys like Blakeney that are waffling? Not necessarily talking about guys who have been hard commits somewhere else, but guys that are on the fence. Just seems to me that Jones could use him as a bargaining chip.

Simmons has been a "bargaining chip" since the day he committed. Outside of maybe Thomas and Sampson, I don't think these out of state guys even look twice at LSU without Simmons on board.
