How will you know if "Imagine That" is any good without a TigerBait subscription?

it's hard to guess what a high school kid is thinking. I don't think that is the strength of either site.

Inside scoop. More information on a daily basis. Better weekly wraps. Better stories. For national stuff, still can't beat Rivals. But LSU, Scout has had the edge for a while.

Everyone here who is "in the know" gets most of their stuff from over there first.

What are everyone's thoughts on Scott McKay's stuff on the site previously known as Tiger Gumbo?

How about Tiger Rag?

I check both from time to time since they are free and have some relevant info.

peronally I like rivals because I think the website is better formatted and looks better. I don't really notice a difference between information accuracy.

Only for the LSU information according to people on this site. Each team will have different writers/or insiders for each site.

Overall Rivals has FAR better ranking and a national scene. As well as much more active boards including the nation board.

The consensus seems to be:

Rivals for the overall network and player ratings

BUT

Scout for the specific LSU-affiliated site.

Basically, recruiting subscribers seems to have become dissatisfied with tigerbait and defected to tigersportsdigest. However, most still consider the rivals rating system and national network to be better (despite the fact that they are Bama homers).

So there you go. The scout LSU site is better than the rivals LSU site, but overall rivals is still better.
