Reality Check for Whiners,Posers, Negatitgers and Other Assorted Idiots

For all of you whiners and complainers, Chicken Littles, haters and idiots, and dumbasses saying the DiNardeaux era is upon us (that includes you Glenn Guilbeau), all I have to say is if at this point in time, with the product you have had to look at for 5 years, the results in those years, and the talent in our current 2-deep roster, if you are not able to trust the ability of the LSU coaching staff to effectively recruit the players that they think have the talent and skills to play and make LSU the best at this level, and instead want to trust the opinions of a bunch of guys that are not coaches and likely have never coached at the collegiate level, and that halfway evaluate some of the H.S. talent, then we (LSU) have got no use for you. Go somewhere else.

That is one long sentence.

Did LSU want Collins, Davis, Kiel, patterson and so on?
I was led to believe yes. And when we whiff on this quantity (which seems to be a much higher whiff rate then prior years), while the evil empire to the east cherry picks the southeast... yeah I can see reason for concern.
Dont interpret critical thinking as being whining.

EXACTLY!!!
When that little prick over in Tuscaloser finishes NUMBER frickING ONE in the country BECAUSE he came into our state and raided our two top players, that's just not acceptable. And, anyone who is "O.K. with that" is a f'ing brain-dead moron.

Yes, I am sure they did, but if you followed recruiting you will see that the staff had about 19 or 20 guys locked up long ago. Sure they wanted Collins, but he chased a girl. So what did they do 00 they went and flipped a guy who, in all likelihood will be as good if not better than Janzen, er, I mean Landon Collins. Kiel was a tough spot -- obvious to anyone who followed his recruitment that his parents played a big role and distance was the factor. That's critical thinking.
Have not read up enough on Davis to know the deal on him, but he stated publicly that he felt some LSU players were not "happy." Fan negativity certainly does not help in that case. Don't know enough about Patterson's recruitment to blame anyone, and I disagree that WR is a big need this year, especially with the scholarship #s we have.
In the end, these are 17 and 18 year old kids making sometimes dumb decisions, whether it be for glory, for tail or for no reason at all. I am not going to let the evaluation of Scout/Rivals/ESPN or any other site guide whether I think we got elite players.

This losing the top players in the state is a terrible trend.
Should definitely not happen and Les Miles is losing his grip on the state.
I'm going wipe my tears away with a printout of last years top ranked La. prospects and google the word "trend."

You show your arse and your stupidity with this. He finished one not because he picked up Collins or Devall. He finishes one without them. And if you want to give credit for landing Landon Collins, give it to whoever at UAt sent Collins' girlfriend her enrollment package.
You are obviously a far cry from a critical thinker.

So what should have Les done different?

Thing is Bama doesn't recruit for depth. They recruit star power which is why they seemingly have to reload every two or three years.

Sarcasm is a difficult concept for people on this board to understand due to low IQ and inability to piece together more than one idea. So here it is: 2011's top 5 players from LA all pledged LSU. In 2009, 4 of the 5 did. Cannot access 2010. Quite a "trend."

Who said it was a trend yet? A lot of us displaying criticism have stated the exact opposite in fact that this is the abnormal year.
Ofcourse every trend starts with one. And we have a recruiting mega machine in our own conference. It wont take many non-stellar classes to lose sight of them. I am not waiting 3 years for a trend analysis to show disappointment in the results of this year. The core we got may turn out to be great (hopefully so). But the bottom line is we made a play on a lot of players and were chosen over at a higher rate then normal. That is concerning anyway you slice it.

If you don't mind, can you support this statement with some actual facts rather than your gut feeling so we can critically evaluate it. If you have these facts, then maybe the concern is warranted.

I agree with you on this one Thomas, but it is part of my point. Those guys play in our division. Their recruiting class appears so much stronger that the top 2 players of our state wouldnt make a flip of a difference in their ranking (yet them getting them puts that much more of a gap between them and us). Recruiting is not static and I personally do not look at LSU in isolation. We have a division rival that is shooting the lights out... not a good time for any slip up.

Like sarcasm, too difficult of a concept for these critical thinkers.
