Who said anything about a "bias?" I don't need you to put words in my mouth. I have no bias against Curtis, whatsoever, in fact, I've known JT, Corey and many there for thirty years. I even helped Corey introduce kids to that school.
Saban MIGHT have more access to kids there than others because of his relationship with JT. Doesn't mean Dupree goes there at all, unless they outwork us on him, which has happened with kids from other schools before.

I don't mean you have bias against Curtis. The meme that Curtis is biased against LSU and or favors Saban has been around for a long time. We got Riley last year and all the pros say Dupree and Young, but especially Dupree are very high on LSU. I think Bama just offered Dupree in the last week or so, so to pick him to Bama seems out of the blue.

I think Bama's offer to Dupre is like our offer to Ronnie Clark. The wheels are in motion for them to commit to the home state school, but the rival is trying to gum up the works so the home state school has to spend more resources cleaning up the mess.

Strategery.

The rest to LSU.

You really ought to stop getting your updates from Diamond Dave.

Noil will be at LSU.

It's all good, i swear if we sign Dupree and Young after Riley last year, there will still be people that say JT hates LSU

Of course there will be. And none of them will be able to name both players from Curtis that passed on an LSU offer since 2000.

Project,

There has been plenty of chatter from LSU folks that Noil is pretty high on A&M, it's not that out of the blue. I think he's our best shot to pull a stud Louisiana kid this year.

I know 1 of them. Has Saban gotten a Curtis guy since he's been at Bama?

I disagree. GWIII father is handling he and Noils recruitment. The father is good friends with Frank Wilson. Both end up at LSU. You're best bet of taking a player from Louisiana, IMO, is Trey Quinn. His recruitment is more wide open than Noils is IMO. But I think we still get Quinn too.

Only 2 that are a toss up are CRob and Hootie Jones.

And I agree with jrevonte, the only place Dupree would go to instead of LSU is UCLA IMO.

Ryan Watson and Joe McKnight are the only two Curtis players with LSU offers to go somewhere else. Both to USC.

Watson's year was the year we signed Spadoni, Sevin, Stewart, and like 4 other Curtis guys.

As someone else said, Robby Green went to Bama under Saban, but was not offered by LSU and finished his career at a D2 school in PA after getting booted for PEDs.

Stewart wound up having a much better career than Watson. Watson finished at USM. Robby Green's not being offered was a lot like Ellis last year, without the idiot Dad. May have the same results...
