Their success in sending OL to the league and our relative lack there of is a big selling in Bama's favor. I agree its 50/50.
For the guy that asked, Robinson is the #1 Offensive Line recruit in the country, He's ranked as high as #3 on at least 1 service. In 95% of years he would be the #1 player in La, but not this year with Fournette.

I think Bama has a good shot at CR, but if you're going to say Bama will likely land him you have to say the same for LF to LSU. LF is more of an LSU lean than CR is to Bama imo

From listening to Cam Robinsons interview, it sounds like he is very much open to both schools. Didn't sound like he was favoring either school. Anyone going off of a feeling simply has no idea where he will go (Bama or LSU).

He is ranked number 1 at his position in America at OT.
He is on 24/7 ranked number 6 out of everyone. And his composite ranking is number 3 in all of America out of every position.
I think he is VERY VERY good.

His coach seems to think he ( Camrob) could be the best we've had in a good while, if he comes.
I think he's a major test for our recruiting team. Alabama seems to have made him a priority. Saban recruits OL as if his program depends on it. Not sure we view it with the same urgency, but we'll see...

I think Robinson may like Bama a little more than LSU, but being in a largely pro-LSU town like WM should tip him in our favor. Doesn't hurt that all the other major LA recruits will be at LSU, too.

Honestly, it's a tug o war battle with Bama for him. One minute we're leading, the next Bama is leading. I have a feeling it will go down to the wire.

I think Bama has a great shot at CRob obviously but in the end the ties to LSU land him here. More importantly, Bama's recruitments of other OTs may be the deciding factor. If they land the Elemunur(not sure on the spelling;top ranked JC OT) and one of the others they are pursuing maybe CRob edges more to LSU because he would be the only OT in the class. He may not care but at some point immediate depth plays a factor.

I think what happen Alabama put the full court press on Ronnie Clark which is a safety an kin to Cam Robinson that lives in Alabama. Some guys i have talked to is that Alabama likes Ronnie better than Hootie. And Ronnie is about to commit to Alabama. So I am hearing Alabama has cooled down on Hootie.
So that would give us a open window to get Hootie. Just rumors. But that's what I am hearing or reading.

Hootie is a beast and will be at LSU. them backing off him shows that they don't see the connection between cam, hootie, sims that others saw when they wanted us to hurriedly offer sims.
