Also, KC Ross-Miller's dad is a well-connected prep coach. This can't hurt, if LSU lands him

he is well-connected but only for his son. he is a nice guy but has no good intentions except for his son, not a bad thing, but as a coach he should be helping all his kids on the team not just his son. That is how he is, his lone D-1 signee last year, B.J. West from Rapides HS was not because of Tim Miller it was off BJ's summer coaches.

I mean, he runs a basketball-only prep school whose only mission is to get players to college hoops. If he's not trying to get them to college, what's he doing? That makes no sense.

I could see Bass, Green, even Spencer not coming back. TJ and Bo butt heads and Bo has remained eligible by the skin of his teeth. Maybe Trent knows something about Bo

To remain consistent if any players leave the team the proper terminolgy must be Trent Johnson ran them off.

His school was basically built around getting his son to college and his daughter who is a hell of a player too. Sure he has had some D-1 kids sign but most aren't because of him. Most of the looks however did happen because of them just playing alongside K.C. but other than that the kids that signed from there have mostly signed due to outside people helping, not Tim Miller. I have been around his program and almost sent a few kids up there but after doing research it was not a good place to go to.

fwiw, I'm pretty sure Green isn't one of the guys going anywhere. I can't speak for Bass or Spencer, but I know Bass to be a good guy that doesn't get into trouble and he works really hard.

green was a guy i had in mind just because maybe he can't get over his injury and if anything goes somewhere closer to home, but i'd like to see him stay and fight through it, he's gonna be part of a deep frontline next season, we haven't had depth like that in forever it seems. id like to see cbass just contribute somehow. he is a nice guy, and worst case scenario is a four year program guy but we'll see what happens there. i actually think he's played a bit better the last couple of games after a couple of turnover fests, he just doesn't score which is what the team needs, doesn't have the guys to dish to like he did when he played sparingly last season but i thought he and storm would have had some kind of rapport. wouldn't shock me at this point if bo doesn't come back. i still hope to see him turn it around in a more comfortable role next season.

In no way will Garrett Green ever really contribute. He was terrible even before his injury. He lacks what we like to call "talent". If Garrett Green is logging any kind of minutes we're in deep trouble. I.E. this year.

he had some bursts of athleticism (that tomahawk he almost threw down against oklahoma state ) and can hit an outside shot or two but he just looks like he is having a rough year. didn't even play all that much his frosh year so its hard to say he wouldn't have been better or contributing more two years later. we'll at least be more able bodied down there with the additions of white and courtney.

I can see bass and green but no Bo...it just seems to me if he gets his stuff together he can be good for us...if we had a solid point guard I think Bo would be better off as a 2...I don't know...I just hope everyone is patient with TJ...he is trying to get ship righted.

bo needs two things, someone to assist in handling the ball, bringing it up the court and initiating half court offense (temple) and a good guard to pair up with in the backcourt (thornton) we won't have a temple or a thornton next season but stringer, turner, derenbecker, a h e althier more experienced dotson are all guys who will make it easier on bo. we'll hopefully be a little more balanced assuming the young guys can play well and contribute.

If TJ gets rid of them for the team to be better, who cares??? (See Mainieri in baseball)

J. Brady ran off players who happens to blossom some where while LSU is losing season after season is another thing. Can you see the differences???

I was thinking about West's recruitment the other day. Where did he land?

No I don't see the difference.
Guess you can spin it any way you want to but players leave for a variety of reasons, some voluntarily and others are dismissed.

Please identify those players who left LSU and "blossomed" elsewhere.

Thanks. I thought we had all the hay in the barn during the early signing period, but it looks like the spring will be interesting. What's your opinion Bubba, Buckner or Miller? Or both?

First, Brady didn’t run him off. Magnum got in his head that he should be the next Kevin Durant and wanted to play on the perimeter. Nikita Johnson left LSU for La. Tech and convinced Rolle to follow him.

Second, he has decent stats but likely would not have matched them in the SEC. He may not have started the last two years with the development of Chris Johnson. Yeah, he would have added some depth if he was willing to work on developing the things he was capable of doing. Who know he might be in the NBA today like several LSU frontcourt players of this past decade.

Will kicking Chris Bass to the curb hurt our recruiting? Being that he is Brandon Bass' brother, and we use BB's AAU team to recruit from. It seems like that could hurt us somewhat.

Next year on scholarship we'll have;

Bo Spencer - Sr
Chris Bass - Jr
Andre Stringer - Fr

Aaron Dotson - So
Ralston Turner - Fr
Matt Derenbecker - Fr

Storm Warren - Jr
Malcolm White - Jr
Dennis Harris - So
Eddie Ludwig - So
Garrett Green - So
Jalen Courtney - Fr

Any plans on Farrer getting a medical redshirt and coming back next year?

That's 12 right there, giving us a spot for 1 more (assuming Farrer is done). Correct me if I'm wrong.
