I don't. He went to Ole Miss and a west rival. I don't wish Ole Miss luck in anything.

Everyone should have known something was up when Shea didn't commit when his brother changed schools.

Yeah when the father said, "he hasn't resigned, yet"

I knew then. I know everyone else already knew, but I finally believed at that point. Ha.

I wish he would have come to LSU, I truly believe LSU wins multiple national championships with him. I still believe we are set up for a serious run over the next 3-4 seasons. What would really make me happy is if Harris grabbed the starting job, dominates, and stays for a senior season! Would be really nice to have that. Also, really appreciate Franks' commitment and look forward to the future with him.

Both schools got great recruits. In 2-3 years, the Ole Miss-LSU game is going to be a lot of fun watching Franks and Patterson duel against each other

Sucks.
We are below avg at this position and we just lost an instate 5 star prospect to ole miss of all places.

The mississhitti schools are really opening their wallets the last few years. You really want to risk probation just to outbid a package deal qb/coach when you already have a good QB commit?

Take the $$$ and mediocrity Shea, good luck, you are going to need it.

Yeah, and it didn't work with LSU. Obviously Shea was never coming here.

Why did the brother come to work for LSU? Why did we hire him?
Why is it "obvious" Shea was never coming here?

He wasn't from Louisiana and is currently in Shreveport which is barely Louisiana to begin with.

I guess you are too young to remember Bradshaw, Ferguson, Woodley, Prather, and Jones from Ruston. Plus, Mingo and Hester as well who were not Quarterbacks.

He got a glorified grad assistant position that doesn't pay and reports were he wanted to get a better paying qb coach job. Lsu wasn't giving him that. Everything pointed to ole miss giving him a step up job and Shea never committed to lsu. The signs were out there. Some here refused to see it.

Totally missed the point. A kid who is born and raised in Shreveport/Ruston will likely be raised as an LSU fan. A kid who moved there 2 years ago has zero ties to LSU and isn't even living that close to campus. He was never a given to come here and honestly he should have never been expected to be a given.

The kid committed on Mardi Gras? Louisiana is obviously not in his blood.

So Shea bet his entire future on a place just because his brother got a step up position there?

Seems more likely he preferred Ole Miss and them hiring his brother cemented it.

But who cares. We don't need guys with no chest anyway who don't want to play for Louisiana!

And if so, not much you can do about that and we should be happy we have a top tier guy committed to LSU. Not sure where you are going with this.
