Harris is the guy until he graduates. No point in getting your hopes up for etling or any other transfers to start.

hmm, I'm guessing a year ago you said the same thing about Jennings...
But that wasn't my point, we have a backup transfer that is here for 2 more years, we don't need another one

No I wasn't, but unless etling is unreal they will not give up on Harris after 1 season.

We need all the competition we can get and we should have enough scholarships to grab Towles and Ferguson.
Reminds me of what Jim Harbaugh did last year.
He took 4 star Zach Gentry from UT, got benched Jake Rudock from Iowa, and got benched John O'Korn from Houston.
ETA: They already had Shane Morris, Alex Anzalone, and Wilton Speight on campus.
They had an all out battle in the offseason cutting it down to 2 heading into fall.
Harbaugh also recruited 2 QBs this year including 4 star Brandon Peters.

If the guy can complete a 10 yard pass to a wide open player, and has a football iq over 50, then we give the kid a call.

The most disappointing thing about BH was that he totally regressed...the coaches protected him in the first few games, hoping that he'd get some confidence...but went backwards instead...doesn't look promising...jmho

Towles threw 14 Ints and 9 TDs(3 in conference play) this year.

You are damn right. Set all of em, even McMillan, loose in a spring battle royale.
The fact that these QBs at LSU never have to compete with more than one guy is truly detrimental to development. It seems like they think, "as long as I'm not as bad as him, I've got this in the bag".
