I don’t think anyone really knows where’s he’s going except him and his family but reading what Wiltfong wrote yesterday it may be getting a little murky, he’s hearing he may be more keen on going to bama. I really want Surtain but it’s starting to feel like the Marvin Wilson recruitment

Raymond has been on Surtain since he was in 9th grade, if a Bama visit can lure him away he was never coming toblsu

He’s been keen on Bama for a while now. However, I think the relationship with Raymond and all the time Corey has invested will put us over the top. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s 52-48 LSU right now or even closer.

The FSU mod putting a CB for us makes me feel a little better as well.

Josh Newberg, the FSU writer and someone very in tuned with Florida players, put in a CB for LSU. So IDGAF what anyone really says at this point.

No where near fake news just stating what Wiltfong said yesterday in a write up about crystal ball changes

He wants early playing time and with our current shortage of CBs he stands a much better chance of getting on the field here vs Bama. Plus, at Bama you are just a cog in the machine. Here you can achieve superstar status.

Some of these players literally wake up Wed and make a decision.
It really doesn't matter how long or how much you recruit him, every team has been recruiting him relentlessly for three/four years now.
Some of them sleep on it and claim God told me to go to this school.

Maybe true... But Wiltfong didn't believe enough (at the time of this post) to change his pick to "Foggy" or "Flip" to Bama...

I want this kid to be a Tiger as much as the next guy but I see people post things like this and it reminds me that all college fans are homers. Including us.

I'd say Minkah Fitzpatrick was more than a cog in their machine. That guy achieved superstar status.

If PS2 comes to LSU it will be because we've been on him so long and Raymond has developed a great relationship with him. It won't be because he couldn't be a "superstar" at Bama. That kid will be a star wherever he goes.

Why not post this in the other 10 Surtain threads?

So apparently from this statement, some others do know.

(Double negative grammar Nazi)

It probably depends on the player as well, but I haven't seen Bama players elevated the way Matthieu, "the Honey Badger" and Patrick Peterson were. Fitzpatrick and guys like Landon Collins were stars, but I don't see Bama players get the individual accolades as much. Granted, I am not in Bama's backyard either so it may be more perception.

This isn’t an update. This is an expression of your feelings.
