OT Willie Allen enjoying unofficials in BR

He seems to be trending in LSU's favor, which is a good sign.

Has he made any visits outside of LSU?

He's still listed as one of two 5 star offensive tackles on ESPN's site.

I was watching him play last week against Rummel and he looked pretty good. He certainly looked like a good run blocker. A couple of my buddies at the game told me that he was probably the most overrated player in the state. All I did was laughed and called them both morons. If this kid chooses LSU, he will be coached by Grimes and be something special.

My cousin is a sophomore on Curtis and he said Allen is all LSU at this point. Take it for what it is worth. I hate doing the whole I know someone but just relaying the message.

When he commits to LSU he will be a 4 star.

Our future in the o line with this kid (if he signs to LSU) is gonna be sick.

You gotta sign the top line prospects in Louisiana to keep up with Bama and that's what we've done that past two years. Clapp, Brumfield, Allen, Campbell. We gotta sign these guys along with plucking a few from out of state.

Allen is still a high 4 star and a good line prospect. Great size and has a lot of room to grow still

Always thought Allen was overrated. Really wasn't worried about him leaving the state. With that said, I think he will be a good player and think he will one day be a valued player on somebody's Oline. Would be happy to have him on board.

Kid will be good after Moffitt gets ahold of him. Needs to put on some size.
