Culotta and Ponamsky tried to call him on the air this morning to see if he would answer as Tuesday mornings are usually when he would guest host the show.

It was cool to hear the excitement in his voicemail message..."This is coach Orgeron with LSU Football and I'm out recruiting THE BEST players in the country right now, HOLD THAT TIGER!!!"

is it odd that I already don't want Eaux to ever leave?

The love this guy has for his job is probably unparalleled

Frank and O could make a lethal combo for many years to come. They just have to co-exist.

They really like each other so co existing won't be a problem. Frank will be a head coach before too long though.

That's what I'm saying. I see Frank as HC with O as asst HC and Recruiting coordinator.

I think it should be the exact opposite. Coach O as HC and Frank as OC/Asst HC with recruiting coordinator. Simply because CEO has HC experience.

Agree with the O experience factor but hiring a HC is done with the long term in mind and Frank is the guy you want as HC long term. He's the more organized, level headed guy that is up to the challenge of running an entire program. O is great in a limited capacity. Just don't see him as someone that can handle the entire program well.

I know it's a corny saying, but I could not think of anything else: "Absence makes the heart grown fonder."

Ed O. missed being away from coaching and was really eager to get back--he even missed recruiting, which is tough work, and he knows February 4th is right around the corner. And I believe he really wanted to be at LSU.
