08 forever impacted Miles

Miles will open it up when he has an experienced QB he trusts though.

Man these two Quarterbacks LSU is bringing are extremely talented. I start to get excited about Myles, but then I see Narcisse and I'm in also in amazement. He just looks the part alone. Physically gifted.

Oh well.. another "business decision" but at least Devonta doesn't appear to be immature or unlikable. The Camrob thing really annoyed me because of it being a business decision.. even though he was a "huge LSU fan." As if LSU isn't an elite school and you can't go 1st round at LSU? Especially on the line.. If I was a legit fan and talented enough to play for my favorite school, you best believe I'd want to contribute.. See Drake Davis.

I'm not mad they want to go elsewhere, just have been upset with some of the stated reasons at time. I have nothing negative to say about Devonta Smith though. At least he's not stringing LSU along and he's being mature with his process. You don't want anyone who doesn't want to be here.

LSU can still get a Devonta Smith, but they have to show(Miles that is) that they are committed to passing the ball now with some sought of semblance. Last season should have taught him that people are fed up with his style of offense and wanna see the ball thrown now with more regularity. He can still run the ball with authority and he should with the RB's he has, but a passing game that is more up to date with the modern college game now is a must. These receivers coming to LSU now wanna see the ball thrown to them just as much as the RB's wanna run it. You have to let Cameron do his job and give Brandon Harris the green light to show you have confidence in his ability to get the job done.

While I agree that LSU should move on and already has... I pause when hearing these "top 4's". Remember when Tyron Johnson laid out a top 3 w/o LSU a few days before committing? Remember when Stephen Sullivan name MSU his leader a few days before announcing in December? These kids want their time in the lime light and do not want everyone to know where they are going

Yeah, I do remember that.

That was odd as well.

However, this sounds like he really wants to get this behind him and he's clearly ruling LSU out.

Of course I've watched. The style of offense is similar. Run first throw second. No doubt Bama has been running it and executing much better. But both are NFL style offenses and it seemed to work for OBJ and Landry.

I guess the film lies then , because Netherly has hands, skills, moves, and crazy arse SPEED in the film I watched. Looked like the better of the two to me, but you are the expert sooo....

I'm a Netherly fan, too, but Smith is special. I haven't seen many on his level. Didn't mean to come off as a know-it-all. My bad.

And btw, neither of those two were ODB or Jarvis Landry good. And still aren't

You're good in my book and I appreciate the work you do. I'm not sure about the competition that Netherly plays against , but I grew up in Tangipahoa parish and Amite doesn't exactly play juggernauts

Good player but if he wants to leave....oh well.

When u pick Mississippi State and give the reason for picking them as "its close to home" but then the home team doesnt make the list ?

Let him go !!!

We'll be fine.

Calvin Ridley still has a lot to prove, but Cooper was absolutely the best college receiver of that bunch (they were/are all EXTREMELY good).

Just because Cooper is playing for the dysfunctional Raiders now doesn't make him any less of a great player.

Interesting that you chose Bama receivers to compare him too...

We all knew where he was going all along.

Not sure if you guys have seen this fine quality writing. You guys made his article. Using quotes on a message boards to make stabs at a fan base left and right to report a so called news article. This isn't the first time I've seen this from a Bama writer. I'm sure this goes on all the time from many fan bases but good god this is pathetic. Maybe I'm missing something here. But this showed up in my apple news. Looks like an attempted shot to be journalism but is a simpleton fan taking shots. The irony is his article is a mirror of rant that he is attempting to make fun of.

Chicken created something that gave fans a voice.
We as fans don't always think before we hit submit.

Look if Miles can get over the Saban "grip" then the Louisiana stars won't leave the state.

Dude has def been reading this message board. lol Saban has made these chumps I mean gumps proud with the shite talkin since he arrived there and made them relevant again. It wasn't that long ago when their boards were full crap shoots.

but really 1 receiver don't amount to chaos in my book. I like the Smith kid, he is a talent, but LSU is loaded at WR with so much talent there that I see transfers in the future. There problem is they just need to get the passing game going. They get that going there ain't a defense in the country that can stop all those pass catchers.

Yep. One incorporates the forward completion.
