According to the Clemson boards he commited today.

Someone said S Watkins, who RN is with according to his twitter earlier texted the team RN committed.

Tiger Insder over there is reporting an update that someone close to RN said he want to end his recruitment today.

Again nothing official so take it FWIW.

That's a crappy team to commit to if true. He'd have been better off being a jack linebacker with Alabama. Dabo is like 1.5 seasons away from getting fired and replaced by some other idiot.

Craig Loston committed there during their summer camps as well a few years ago. Many kids commit at schools during the summer camp, only to change their minds once the fall comes around and they can take visits. Even if he commits this week, like I said earlier, its not over until signing day.

As far as the poster who indicated that I haven't been following RN's recruiting, I think its more the other way around. He might not end up at Clemson come signing day, but they have been a player in RN's recruitment all along, and will continue to be so simply b/c of his good friends committing to Clemson and the Clemson coaches having an "in" at his HS.

Yeah, talk that over with Da'Quan Bowers, Philip Merling and C.J. Spiller...the best known Clemson legacies right there.

What can this be true. UPT says no.

you obviously haven't followed his recruitment if you think he is committing anywhere this week, much less Clemson.

Like I've tried to tell people for months, he's been favoring Clemson for a while now. If Clemson was in the SEC he would've committed months ago.

I also dont see this as a Loston situation. He doesn't live 600 miles away with a cousing going to LSU in his ear. He lives 60 miles away with two of his close friends going to Clemson. His high school coach was also Dabo's roommate at Alabama and won't let him screw over Clemson. That's not to say he won't change if he does commit but it'll be a lot more solid than whimsical Loston.

Isn't it a recruiting violation to use former players to recruit kids? Joe McKnight and Reggie Bush?

Yes it is.

And

But, but, but, he is a Bama lock!?!?

I truly felt he was an LSU lean considering his last interview. I'm ok with this. Bama nation gonna cry for a long time over this. Sense of entitlement...crushed

Keep him out of the conference. Good with me. Always thought we were on the outside looking in.
