Rankings are a joke on most of the .coms sites, they have regional guys do the state rankings in their area. Most regional guys only come to Louisiana for the state championship games and LSU camps. 247 is different, Barton Simmons is in Louisiana as I type this he came by the school I coach at yesterday.

Barton's the best national guy at scouting LA. He always makes a point ot get to LA as much as possible. He also loves Carlton Perkins as I'm sure you know.
Texas is loaded at the top this year so it's really nos suprise that they've got 11 ahead of our top 1 from LA. I don't agree that there should be 11 but it's no suprise. LA doesn't have that 1 kid that stands out yet. Tim Williams is probably the closest thing to it and they have Beckwith among others ahead of him. Sonny and Coppage have some say in their rankings though so maybe that's how their list was submitted for the LA kids.

Looks weak in LA this year 3 good TEs and 2 LBers that are looking at AL.
